IES Synergy at a glance
Founded in Montpellier in 1992, IES Synergy is a leading French player in electric vehicle charging. Drawing on pioneering expertise in power conversion, the company designs and manufactures high-performance, reliable and interoperable KEYWATT® charging stations and chargers in France. What sets us apart is our ability to combine technical performance, industrial sovereignty and operational agility.
Operating in more than 50 countries and serving over 300 customers, our long-lasting solutions are designed to meet every use case: local and regional authorities, bus and truck depots, public car parks such as shopping centres and hotels, private company car parks, and industrial manufacturers of electric equipment requiring onboard chargers.
Thanks to complete control of the technology chain and a modular approach, we ensure quality, ease of operation and a seamless, sustainable and competitive experience for every mobility stakeholder.
A history of innovation since 1992
Since its creation in Montpellier in 1992, IES Synergy has continuously innovated. From its first onboard charger to KEYWATT® fast-charging stations, as well as ultra-fast and bidirectional solutions, our history is that of an electromobility pioneer. As a partner of the CEA and Renault and a beneficiary of the France Relance programme, we have built a strong track record combining industrial rigour with continuous innovation. Today, our products are deployed in more than 50 countries and embody French expertise dedicated to sustainable mobility.
100% French R&D, focused on the future
At the heart of IES, our R&D teams bring together engineers and designers in France who share the same ambition: to make charging simpler, faster and more sustainable. From power electronics to embedded software, we control the entire value chain, turning every idea into a reliable, industrially scalable and upgradeable product.
Every day, we prototype, test and optimise our solutions to raise market standards in energy performance, safety, cybersecurity, availability and full interoperability. Our eco-design approach reduces the carbon footprint from the design stage onwards, while optimising operating costs for our customers.
