As a pioneer in electromobility, IES Synergy has always been present during the major milestones of the electric vehicle industry. First to imagine and manufacture an onboard charger for forklifts and aerial platforms, first to equip a mass-produced light electric vehicle, involved in the development of the Combo charging protocol with major German manufacturers, delivering mobile solutions for the development of numerous market vehicles, meeting the challenge of competition by equipping the FIA Formula-e world championship, IES Synergy has participated in major moments that have shaped the market.

“The adoption of electric vehicles by our citizens is strongly linked to the availability of a well-sized charging network.
New forms of mobility will also emerge, such as car sharing or zero-emission public transport, to fight against pollution effects and manage access to our increasingly congested and restricted cities. We have developed unique solutions in terms of compactness and competitiveness, greatly facilitating the deployment of these charging networks, whether for individual or shared vehicles. We are convinced that these compact, universal, and economical solutions will be key drivers to help massively deploy charging solutions in public and commercial spaces, usable by everyone and in a flexible way.
Another barrier perceived by potential users concerns the range and cost of vehicles. Advances in battery technologies, increasing density and reducing costs, now make EVs more affordable with increased range. For instance, we see today’s new generations of EVs announced with ranges of 500 to 600 km. In our opinion, electric power has a significant place in the French energy mix, as evidenced by the enthusiasm of manufacturers and French legislation encouraging the sector.”
